Hey I’m Kate! I have been an SLP for 9 years. Growing up, I always wanted to work with children and I’m so thankful I found the career of speech-language pathology. I’m originally from the Asheville area of NC but relocated to Hickory after finishing school. I graduated from Western Carolina University in 2016 with a Masters in Communication Sciences & Disorders. I also studied Special Education and have experience with school-based services as well. I love early intervention/language therapy and working with speech sound disorders. My favorite thing about my job is the families and the chance to build relationships with each one I serve. When I’m not wearing my SLP hat, you can find me reading a good book, drinking iced coffee, or spending time with my husband and our two WILD boys.

I am a licensed and certified Speech Language Pathologist who has been a member of the speech therapy team at PTN since 2021. From a young age, I knew I wanted a career in which I could help children grow and succeed and found that Speech Language Pathology was a field in which I could do just that. I went on to earn both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2019 and 2021, respectively, and began working at PTN fresh out of school. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family and checking out new places. I love working here at PTN and watching my patients’ personalities blossom as they make progress towards their goals!

Hi! I’m Amelia, and have been with PTN since 2024. I started my journey to speech-language pathology at NC State, receiving a bachelor’s degree in English, and completed a Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at New York University. I am privileged to walk alongside children and their families as they navigate the world around them and experience the curiosity, connection, and (sometimes) chaos that is life. I hope to be a lifelong learner, and enjoy working with pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders, as well as natural language acquisition. When I’m not at work, you’ll often find me reading, singing offkey, or relaxing with my partner, Patrick, and two pups, Teagan and Fitzgerald.

Hello, my name is Danielle! I graduated from Western Carolina University with a degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, GO cats! I have been with PTN for a 2 years now. I have adored helping all our sweet kiddos find their voices and grow exponentially with their language skills! During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband Luke, friends, family, and my sweet animals Baylor and Gator!

My name is Bethany Ward, I have worked as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant for over 5 years. I have worked in both school and private settings. I love working with my patients and helping them meet their goals while also having fun! In my free time I enjoy adventures with my husband and our two little boys!

Hi, I’m Ana Bolick! I have been a Speech Language Therapy Assistant for 9 years. I graduated from CCC&TI SLP Assistant program in 2015. It has been a blessing to work with such wonderful children and their families. I have enjoyed making relationships and watching them meet their goals! During my free time I love spending time with my family making memories, going to the mountains, the beach or watching a movie!

Hi, I’m Linzee! I’ve worked as a pediatric SLP Assistant for 9 years and loved every minute. I have always wanted to work with kids and was hooked when I discovered the speech field. I love helping children reach their fullest potential in all areas of speech and language; my job is to teach kids to talk back! When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family and dog, or reading a good book.

Angela is a Speech Language Pathology Assistant. Angela earned her associate’s degree in applied science from Caldwell Community College & Technical Institute in May 2019. Angela is very passionate about helping kids make progress and reach their goals. Angela is married and a mom of 4 boys. Angela enjoys going to the beach and Carowinds with her family during free time. Angela looks forward to working with the families here at Pediatric Therapy Network.

Hi, I’m Rachel! I have been with Pediatric Therapy Network since October of 2023. I attended Western Carolina University and received my undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, and attended graduate school at the University of North Carolina Greensboro. I have prior experience in outpatient pediatrics, with interest in feeding and swallowing disorders, social language disorders, and articulation/phonological disorders. In my free time, I enjoy reading my Kindle, going on walks, and spending time in the mountains!

Katie received her Masters in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of South Carolina in 2012. She has worked for Pediatric Therapy Network for since 2015. Katie loves working with children of all ages in the areas of feeding, language, and articulation. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, as well as cooking and reading.
